Cynthia is a visual artist who was born in San José, Costa Rica. She grew up on a farm where she developed a great sensitivity for animals, especially horses and bulls, the protagonists of her work. She has received international awards and has participated in a large number of collective and individual exhibitions, as well as in workshops and symposiums. Currently, her work is exposed in different countries. Her paintings, drawings and sculptures have a surrealistic, mysterious and poetic tone. In them, the figures of the horse and the bull represent metaphors of power or weakness.
